Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 2 large chicken breasts sliced or cubed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp honey optional

Method
 

  1. Place the chicken pieces in a bowl. Add turmeric, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, lemon juice, and olive oil. Mix well until all pieces are evenly coated.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Once warm, add the seasoned chicken in a single layer.
  3. Cook the chicken for about 4 to 5 minutes on the first side until the bottom turns lightly golden.
  4. Flip the chicken pieces and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes until fully cooked and tender.
  5. If using honey, drizzle it over the chicken and gently stir to create a light glossy coating.
  6. Turn off the heat and sprinkle chopped parsley on top before serving.

Notes

Serve this turmeric black pepper chicken with rice, quinoa, roasted vegetables, or fresh salad. You can also add bell peppers or zucchini to the skillet for extra color and flavor.
