  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Pat the beef ribs dry with paper towels.
  3. Season all sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Place sliced onions in a baking dish and set the ribs on top.
  5. Pour beef broth into the dish and cover tightly with foil.
  6. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until ribs are fork tender.
  7. Remove foil, brush ribs with barbecue sauce.
  8. Return to oven uncovered and bake for 20 to 30 minutes until caramelized.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate the ribs overnight before cooking. You can also use baby back ribs for a leaner option. Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or vegetables for a complete meal.
