Ingredients

Pudding Layer
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 oz)
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 container whipped topping (8 oz, thawed)
Fruit & Base Layers
  • 2 bananas sliced
  • 1 cup strawberries sliced
  • 1.5 cups vanilla wafers or graham crackers crumbled or whole as preferred

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Whisk
  • Glass Dish or Individual Cups

Method

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and slightly thickened. Let it rest for 5 minutes to firm up.
  2. Create a base layer of vanilla wafers or graham crackers in a glass dish or individual cups.
  3. Slice bananas and layer them on top of the cookies. Spoon a generous amount of pudding over the fruit, spreading it evenly.
  4. Layer sliced strawberries over the pudding, then spread a fluffy layer of whipped topping.
  5. Repeat the layers until your dish is full, ending with whipped topping and optional extra fruit or crushed cookies on top.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Best served chilled.

Notes

  • Try using Biscoff cookies for a caramel twist.
  • For a lighter version, use low fat milk and sugar free pudding mix.
  • Avoid freezing as it alters the texture of the pudding and fruit.
