  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
For Serving
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • 1 tbsp butter for toasting buns

Equipment

  • Blackstone Grill

Method

  1. Preheat the Blackstone grill to medium heat and lightly oil the flat top surface.
  2. Add the ground beef to the hot grill and break it apart with a spatula while cooking until nicely browned.

  8. Spoon the sloppy joe mixture onto the toasted buns and serve immediately while hot.

Notes

This sloppy joe mixture can also be prepared in a skillet on the stove if a flat top grill is not available. The filling stores well in the refrigerator for several days and can also be frozen for later meals.
