Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts or thighs patted dry and seasoned with salt and pepper
  • 8 oz dry egg noodles
  • 4 tbsp butter divided
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper or to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Tongs
  • Spatula

Method

  1. Pat chicken dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  2. Mince the garlic and measure noodles and broth to prepare for cooking.
  3. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  5. Add the remaining butter to the pan, then stir in minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  6. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  7. Add the noodles, stir, and cook until tender and coated in butter sauce (about 8–10 minutes).
  8. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon garlic butter sauce over the top.
  9. Simmer for 2–3 minutes so flavors blend, then sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Use pre-minced garlic or thinly sliced chicken to save time. For a richer version, add grated Parmesan or stir in a splash of cream. Leftovers can be refrigerated up to 3 days and reheated with a bit of broth or butter to restore moisture.
