Ingredients
  

Lamb Mixture
  • 500 g ground or diced lamb
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
Assembly
  • 4 pita bread
  • 1 cup yogurt sauce
  • 1 cup lettuce chopped
  • 1 cup tomatoes diced
  • 1 cup cucumber sliced

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix the lamb with olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Shape the lamb onto skewers or form into small logs or patties if not using skewers.
  3. Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat and lightly oil if needed.
  4. Cook the lamb for 8 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides and cooked through.
  5. Warm the pita bread in a pan or oven until soft.
  6. Let the lamb rest for a few minutes, then prepare the toppings.
  7. Fill each pita with cooked lamb, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and yogurt sauce.
  8. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

You can use either ground or diced lamb depending on preference. Adjust spices to taste, and feel free to add other toppings like onions or herbs.
