  • 2 tbsp honey or sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water

  1. Pat the chicken dry and cut it into even pieces.
  2. In a bowl, whisk soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger until smooth.
  3. Mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water in a small cup and set aside.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of oil.
  5. Place the chicken in a single layer and cook until lightly golden. Flip and cook until nearly done.
  6. Pour in the sauce mixture and let it simmer gently.
  7. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and simmer until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy. Coat the chicken thoroughly.
  8. Remove from heat and let rest for a minute before serving.
