- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil, then place the chicken in a single layer. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Lower the heat. Add butter to the same skillet and let it melt. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the honey and soy sauce. Stir well and let the sauce simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the chicken to the skillet. Spoon the sauce over the top and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes until coated and glossy.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
You can substitute chicken breasts for thighs, but avoid overcooking to keep them juicy. Add a squeeze of lemon juice for brightness or a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat. Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
