Ingredients
  

Fruit Layers
  • 6 green grapes washed
  • 6 slices banana peeled and sliced
  • 6 strawberries tops sliced off
  • 6 mini marshmallows
  • 1 tsp lemon juice optional, to prevent browning

  • Toothpicks or small skewers

Method
 

  1. Wash the grapes and strawberries. Slice off the tops of the strawberries to make a flat surface. Peel and slice the banana into even rounds.
  2. Start by placing a green grape on the skewer, followed by a banana slice, then a strawberry (pointed side up), and finish with a mini marshmallow on top. Adjust gently so the fruit stays in place.
  3. If you’re making them ahead, brush the banana slices lightly with lemon juice to keep them looking fresh.
  4. Arrange the Grinch fruit sticks on a platter and serve fresh.

Notes

  • These festive fruit skewers are best served fresh.
  • To make them ahead, assemble everything except the banana and marshmallow, and add those just before serving.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 6 hours. For a creative display, arrange them in the shape of a Christmas tree on a white platter.
