  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar or honey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes or to taste
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 green onions chopped for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until no pink remains. Drain any extra fat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, and vinegar.
  3. Pour the sauce into the skillet and stir well to coat every bite of beef.
  4. Let it simmer for 3 to 4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Top with chopped green onions and serve over rice, noodles, or lettuce cups.

Notes

Swap sriracha for chili paste for more heat. Serve with rice, quinoa, or roasted veggies. Great for meal prep and freezer-friendly for up to 2 months.
