- In a small bowl, combine chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, brown sugar, mustard powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to blend.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
- Add about 2 tablespoons of the seasoning mix to the cooked beef and stir well.
- Pour in the tomato sauce or ketchup and mix until well combined. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot on toasted buns. Enjoy!
Notes
Store seasoning mix in a sealed jar in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months. Try it with ground turkey or chicken, and feel free to add a dash of Worcestershire sauce or cayenne for extra flavor.
