Ingredients

Pizza Dough
  • 1 pizza dough store-bought or homemade
Lamb Topping
  • 1/2 lb ground lamb
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1/4 onion finely chopped
Toppings
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
  • 1/3 cup feta cheese crumbled
  • 1 tsp fresh oregano or parsley chopped
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional

Equipment

  • Pizza Stone
  • Skillet
  • Baking Sheet

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook ground lamb with onion and garlic for about 6 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Roll out your pizza dough on parchment paper. Brush with olive oil and spread a thin layer of tomato sauce.
  4. Top with cooked lamb mixture, sprinkle with feta cheese, herbs, and red pepper flakes if using.
  5. Carefully transfer pizza to the hot stone or baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
  6. Let cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm with salad or yogurt sauce if desired.

Notes

You can customize this pizza with olives, roasted peppers, or a drizzle of tzatziki for extra Mediterranean flair. It’s also a great way to use leftover roast lamb.
