Method
- Slice heirloom tomatoes into thick rounds and arrange on a serving platter.
- Place the burrata in the center. Tear slightly to let the creamy center ooze out.
- Scatter fresh basil leaves over and around the cheese.
- Drizzle generously with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
- Season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use cherry tomatoes if heirloom tomatoes are not available.
- Add olives or roasted peppers for a twist.
- Best served fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container and consume within one day.
