Main Ingredients
  • 2 balls burrata cheese fresh and creamy
  • 3 heirloom tomatoes sliced thick
  • 1 handful fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil for drizzling
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze for drizzling
  • salt & pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Slice heirloom tomatoes into thick rounds and arrange on a serving platter.
  2. Place the burrata in the center. Tear slightly to let the creamy center ooze out.
  3. Scatter fresh basil leaves over and around the cheese.
  4. Drizzle generously with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
  5. Season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use cherry tomatoes if heirloom tomatoes are not available.
  • Add olives or roasted peppers for a twist.
  • Best served fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container and consume within one day.
