Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the dough into strips and wrap each around a piece of sausage. Pinch to seal.
- Bring a medium pot of water to a gentle boil. Carefully add the baking soda.
- Boil the bites in batches for about 30 seconds, then transfer to the baking sheet.
- Brush each bite with egg wash and sprinkle with coarse salt.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with your favorite dip.
Notes
- To save time, use pre-cut sausages or prepare dough ahead of time.
- These bites can also be frozen after baking and reheated in the oven for a quick snack.
