Ingredients

Lamb Chops
  • 8 lamb chops about 1 inch thick
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Equipment

  • Skillet

Method

  1. Pat the lamb chops dry with paper towels. Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, paprika, and herbs. Let rest at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  2. Mix honey, garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, and lemon juice in a bowl to make the glaze.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with a small splash of olive oil.
  4. Place lamb chops in the skillet in a single layer and sear for 3–4 minutes until browned.
  5. Flip chops, reduce heat to medium, and cook for 3 more minutes.
  6. Spoon glaze over the chops, turning to coat. Let it bubble and thicken, about 2–3 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

For stronger flavor, add cracked pepper or chili flakes. Let lamb rest before cooking to ensure even doneness. Serve with potatoes, rice, or vegetables for a balanced meal.
