Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
Honey Garlic Sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter

Method
 

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  2. Mince the garlic finely and mix honey and soy sauce in a bowl.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Add chicken and cook 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from pan.
  4. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 30–45 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the honey-soy mixture and simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over top, and simmer 2 more minutes. Turn once to coat.
  7. Remove from heat and let rest before serving.

Notes

Use thinner chicken breasts to reduce cook time. Prepare the sauce in advance or double the recipe for meal prep. Add lemon juice or red pepper flakes for variation.
