- Place a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef.
- Sprinkle salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika evenly over the beef.
- Break the beef apart with a wooden spoon as it cooks, stirring occasionally to coat the meat evenly with seasoning.
- Cook for 7 to 10 minutes until the beef is browned and no pink remains.
- Drain excess grease if needed and use the seasoned beef in tacos, casseroles, pasta dishes, rice bowls, or sandwiches.
Notes
You can adjust the seasoning to fit your dish. Add chili powder and cumin for a Mexican style flavor, Italian seasoning and basil for pasta dishes, or smoked paprika and cumin for a southwest twist. Cooked and seasoned ground beef can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
