Meatloaf
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix breadcrumbs and milk. Let sit for 2 minutes to soften.
  3. Add ground beef, onion, garlic, egg, sour cream, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Transfer mixture into the loaf pan and shape evenly.
  6. Spread ketchup on top for a tangy glaze.
  7. Bake for 45–55 minutes until fully cooked and slightly golden.
  8. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra creaminess, add a splash of heavy cream or more sour cream. Avoid overmixing to keep the meatloaf tender and juicy.
