Ingredients

Meatballs
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated, for sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Mixing Bowl

Method

  1. In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into small meatballs about 1 inch wide and place them on a plate.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 8 to 10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Sprinkle the flour into the pan and stir well. Cook for 1 minute to remove the raw flour taste.
  6. Slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring. Let the sauce simmer gently until it begins to thicken.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Mix until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  8. Return the meatballs to the skillet. Spoon the sauce over them and simmer for 5 minutes to absorb flavor.
  9. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes for a complete meal. If the sauce becomes too thick, add a splash of milk or broth to loosen it. You can substitute ground beef with pork, turkey, or a mix for different flavor variations.
