Ingredients
  

Cheese Log Base
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • salt and pepper to taste
Flavor Add-ins
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries chopped, plus more for coating
  • 2 green onions finely chopped
Coating
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans toasted

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, honey, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Fold in chopped cranberries and green onions until evenly distributed.
  3. Place the mixture onto plastic wrap and shape it into a log. Chill for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  4. On a plate, spread chopped pecans and extra cranberries. Roll the chilled log over the mixture until evenly coated.
  5. Serve with crackers, apple slices, or baguette rounds. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can make this cheese log ahead and store it in the fridge for up to 4 days.
