Method
- Rinse cherries and pat them dry with a soft towel.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment for easy cleanup.
- Melt chocolate slowly over low heat until smooth.
- Stir in a small amount of oil to thin the texture.
- Hold each cherry by the stem and dip it into the chocolate.
- Place dipped cherries on the lined sheet and let them set.
- Chill for 10 to 12 minutes until the shell becomes firm.
Notes
- For added flair, roll the freshly dipped cherries in chopped nuts or sprinkles before chilling.
- You can also dip them halfway for a two-tone effect or drizzle with white chocolate for decoration.
